Introduction

The positive economics statement is defined as an objective and fact based statement, while normative economics is based upon the value and is subjective.

The Positive economic statements need not be substantially correct but it needs to be tested which can be later on proved or disaproved. The other is the normative economic statements which are based upon the opinion and as such cannot be proved or disaproved.
