My Post Lab questions are asking me this about my caffeine experiment. "You perform a TLC experiment on a product that you obtained in the lab. When you put it under the UV lamp, you see only one spot. Upon further analysis, however, you realize that there are actually two compounds in the sample. Give two reasons why this could happen, and then suggest how you could modify the experiment to overcome each one"

I do not know why this could happen or how to determine this.
