The resistance (in ohms) of 1000 feet of solid copper wire at 68 degrees Fahrenheit can be approximated by the mathematical modely=10770x2−0.37,5≤x≤100,  where is the diameter of the wire in mils (0.001 inch).

i)Make a table of values for x= 10,20,30,40, . . . ,100.

ii)approximate the value of when the resistance is 4.8 ohms.

Then determine the answer algebraically.
