1. Type 1 and type 2 diabtes both have different underlying causes, but have the same end result: ________ (my guess is increased blood glucose levels, is this correct?)

2. Describe the four different levels of structure in proteins, specifying the types of intereactions that hold them together. (My guess is primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary, but I don't know the types of interactions.)

3. Hormones take different routes to communicate messages to illicit the target cell response. Hydrophobic hormones, like steroids, are able to cross the cell membrane. Describe the pathway that a hydrophilic hormone (like epinephrine) must take to deliver its "message".
