In the real world ms (the electron spin quantum number) has onlytwo values. For giggles, let’s assume that in the galaxy next doorms can have four values instead of two (let’s say -1, -1/2, +1/2,and +1). All of the other normal rules apply for the quantumnumbers n, l, and ml. Answer the following questions for theseassumptions.
A) How many electrons could each orbital hold?
B) How many elements would be contained in the first and secondperiods of the periodic table?
C) How many elements would be contained in the first transitionmetal series?
D) How many electrons would the set of 4f orbitals be able tohold?
