I need help in balancing half reactions that occur in basicsoutions. I am totally lost when it comes to knowing which side ishould add the OH- ions; and where water should be added. Pleasehelp me.
for example: balance the following redox reaction in basicsolution:
Tl2O3 (S) + NH2OH (aq) --------> TlOH (s) + N2 (g)
