In the lab, 1OmL of 1M Pb(NO3)2 is mixedwith 10mL of NaCl. Then we filter the solid and put it in adifferent flask and added 25mL of water and shake it to produce asaturation solution. When thesuspension of the lead carbonate solution in the first test tube issettled, we decant the clear supernatant solution into anothersmall test tube and add 1 mL of 0.1 M Na2S.
