hello! i'm so excited to have found this site. let's see if youcan help. here's the question:
Sketch a graph of a function that satisfies the followingcharacteristics. (There are
many correct answers here!!)
- f(x) is continuous everywhere except at x=1
- lim (x -->1-) f(x)=2
- lim (x -->1+) f(x)= -3
- f(1) = 3
Now, here's the simple graph that my teacher gave us inclass:
my question is: why doesnt the graph go THROUGH the point (1,3)?what in the directions would tell me that it's just a point???
