Albinism is a genetic disorder that results in the absence of pigment in the skin, hair and eyes. it results from a lacking production of melanin, a natural pigment in many animals (Including humans). Melanocytes are a specialized group of cells that produce melanin, and they are inhibited from producing either a sufficient amount of melanin or any at all. In most cases, Albinism is regarded as a autosomal recessive inheritance condition, meaning that you need to the albino gene from both parents in order to have it yourself.
