1. Find a formula for the described function.
A rectangle has perimeter 20 m. Express the area A of therectangle as a function of the length, L, of one of itssides.

Correct Answer: 10L-L^2

State the domain of A. (Assume the length of therectangle is longer than its width. Enter your answer in intervalnotation.)

Correct Answer: ???

I thought it was [0,10] but that is wrong. I've also tried(0,10), (-infinity,0)union(10,infinity), (-infinity, infinity),(0,25), and [0,25].

I'm really stuck on the domain questions

2. Find a formula for the described function.
A rectangle has area 36 m2. Express the perimeter of therectangle as a function of the length L of one of itssides.

Correct Answer: (2L^2 + 72)/L

State the domain of P. (Assume the length of therectangle is larger than its width. Enter your answer usinginterval notation.)

Correct Answer: ???

I understand how to get the function....am I put not writing theinterval correctly?
