Learning the command line interface can help administer a linux system efficiently by configuring permission and working with files. Using detailed commands through a command-line interface can be faster and more efficient than scrolling across gui tabs and dialogs. You can configure linux to perform almost any network role that any other server operating system can perform. Knowledge of the command line interface you will have greater control over the operating system or application with faster management of many operating systems in which is needed for network administration. Command line interface can also help me with troubleshooting network connection issues. Linux supplies many advantages over other operating systems: open-source software available for everyone to contribute, modify, and enhance the source code. It is also available for users to download and use for free.
