Learning outcomes: describe the form of the lymphatic tissues or organs of the dogs, discuss the topographical anatomy of the lymphatic system of the dog. The lymphatic system consists of lymphatic vessels and lymphoid tissues. Below are the functions of the lymphatic system: return protein and excess fluid from the interstitial space to bloodstream, transport fat from the intestine, remove microbes, etc. from the tissues, produce immunity against infection.
