This course o ers a self-contained introduction to di erential and integral calculus. The topics include functions, limits, di erentiation of polynomial, trigonometric, exponential and logarithmic functions, product, quotient and chain rules, applications of di erentiation, antiderivatives and de nite integrals, integration by substitution. A sequel to this course is math 1010. 03. Nova scotia mathematics advanced 11 and 12 or pre-calculus. Course objectives/learning outcomes: understand the signi cance of limits, continuity, di erentiability and integrability of functions, understand the connection between di erentiation and integration given by the fundamental theorem of calculus.
