Prioritizing requirements is very important because we wont have enough resources to build all the requirements, so we need to see which one we are going to drop and keep. Prioritizing happens at the end of the analysis phase, revisiting cost benefit and find out the new numbers in term of cost and benefit, does it still worth to keep going. The large-scale batch processing like the payroll system, the central mainframe large computer did this process. Single architecture computer, all the work in one single computer, all the users should be the near computer it is easy to learn and maintain. Clustered architecture computer, many machines do the work manufacturing the same model, they are basically networked and the process and role is splited. All of the computers have to be from same manufacturer. Multicomputer architecture, group of computers that might not be from same manufacturer basically same as above, but still seen as a single networked computer.
