The species can be defined in several ways. Most of the evolutionary biologist use the term biological species concept, which defined as species is a group of potentially im-breeding organism and they are reproductively isolated from other such groups. New species sometime originated from hybrid between parent species, and most of the time the hybrid species may be a polyploid. Darwin found out that galapagos harbour contain different forms of mockingbirds and variety of finches. Data collected from modern research; it is affirmed that how the enormous diversity of organism arose. The forks in the great tree of life were caused by speciation, can be explained as the process in which one species give rise to two. In some extreme cases, speciation is rapid, requiring only a few thousand years or even less. New genome is produced instantly by whole genome duplication, in other scenario it takes millions of years for population to evolve reproductive isolation.
