Soda lime reacts with co2 creating a barrier so oxygen cannot reach the beans. Water vapour was seen due to respiration. Volume of gas consumed increased as time increased. Toluidine blue solution - epithelial cells from inside cheek. Staining unfixed cells - simply staining cell.
