Now suppose that i would have to jump in really quickly, and my phone, which is in my pocket, would get ruined. Moral: a child"s life is always worth more than clothes or a phone. Peter singer argues that we are in a morally analogous situation today - people are dying from easily preventable" causes and we do not make an effort to stop it. Approximately 3. 1 million children under five years old die from undernutrition. To save a life costs somewhere between - , and in our lives, we routinely put money towards coffee, netflix, spotify, etc. Suffering and death from lack of food, shelter, and medical care are very bad.
