Tone- is when two pitches form a good quality of sound that can resemble a mood or proper feel. Pitch- is the highest and lowest of a sound. When two pitches are combine it is called a tone. With multiple pitches you might be tested to determine the distance between each pitch which is referred as an interval. Interval- the distance of two tones with different pitches. Can be measured by a tone"s pitch and can be use by a chart like a stair way. A common example is a choir scale. (do re mi fa sol la ti do) Going up the stairs means going for a higher pitch, going down the stairs means going for a lower pitch.
