Key creative team: producer- in charge of the film from the beginning to end, director- in charge on the set, screenwriter- how the story gets told, ideas. Also on set: writer- good writer, knows how to write each genre, holding onto key points, good researcher, production department. Executive producer- overseeing multiple productions at once. Line producer- responsible for the budget, can tell the price/budget of an entire movie just by looking at the script. Production manager- producers right hand on set, time management. Assistant directors- second director, makes calls on set, set up for a scene including actors lighting props etc. all logistics. Script supervisor (continuity)- checking lines of dialogue, keeping track of changes, gives notes to editor so the editor knows. Director of photography/cinematographer- very important, right under the director, visualize what is in the directors head. Camera operator- responsible for setting up the shots, location of camera, what lense etc.
