Orpheus, with the power of music, decides to descend to styx and try to get her back. Something heros must do in order to really be a hero. Herakles, odysseus, aeneas, luke skywalker, jesus, aang. Instead of escaping domesticity, he is trying to return to it. Orpheus makes a deal with hades and persephone that if he walked out of hell with eurydice without looking back, then she would be able to return to the living.
