People used to know a litle of everything. We can"t wrap our heads around one enire ield, let alone a whole culture. 3 themes highlighted by these protests: markets weren"t working, poliical systems did not correct the market failures, economic and poliical systems seemed unfair. These are the symptoms that emerged in 2011 and people"s reacions to them. Market a place where people can buy and sell things. Widget market all people buying and selling widgets: markets should be eicient.
