It was when life was finally in order that depression came slinking in and spoiled everything . Felt like he was losing self, tried to schedule pleasures failed to connect, gained no satisfaction. If you trip or slip, there is a moment, before your hand shoots out to break your fall, when you feel the earth rushing up at you and you cannot help yourself a passing, fraction-of-a-second horror. I felt like that way hour after hour . Went to a psychopharmacologist, prescribed to xanax and zoloft. Became fearful of showers despite knowing that showers aren"t scary. Depression means that you have no point of view . Different medications had different side effects for him. Lost the ability to remain upright for very long. Had begun to feel better, the terror had lifted. Was convinced that worst symptoms were gone. Went to a party arrived home in a state of panic and sadness, threw up repeatedly.
