Many areas where populations are growing the fastest will be hardest hit by climate change. If we move agriculture into better climates we would have to destroy other areas. Gmos might allow us to adapt to the climate change faster. Genetic capital: wild relatives hold important biodiversity because they could possess genes for stress tolerance wild relative and cultivated rice example. Livestock: greenhouse effect is a natural phenomenon. We need our atmosphere to help protect and warm our planet. Otherwise it would be cold and desolate like mars where the average daily temp is -55 degrees c. Greenhouse effects can cause the earth to warm like venus where the average daily temperature is 462 degrees c. the atmosphere there is 96% c02. Methanogens are a group of bacteria that create methane gas. They often live in anaerobic environments (low oxygen content) and convert carbon into ch4.
