Immigrants were crucial to building us: built most of industrial america, buildings, railroads, offices, etc, no asians allowed. ), hated immigrants, trial was a farce, judge said there is no way i"m letting these two off: they were convicted everybody has to be on alert about what they say. John scopes put on trial because he taught evolution. Attempt to make the country for white protestants again.
