Sections one and two will consist of essay questions. These questions are more unstructured and require students to demonstrate a greater scope of his/her knowledge along with their personal insights. These are short essays in which the responses are more specific. Choices will be offered to students from each section (so, for example out of the five extended questions, professor tillery will choose two to three, of which you will write on only one. Identification questions will present students with a list of terms names, events, and concepts from which you will choose a certain number usually between 8-10. Section one: extended questions: (35 points: discuss the great puritan migration and its impact on the development of colonial america. How did it impact the colonization of the american colonies, baltimore, rhode islanders, the church was being corrupt and this is how they colonized themselves.
