Painted out of fresco, a largish panels to look like marbles. With high caliber painting and climate together, the painting get weathered. Diligent painting on a wall in a fantasy concept. It erupted and pored lava on the town. The ash and the hot air cover and freeze the bodies. Your vision hasn"t change but your perspective on the painting change. Used a linear point perspective, invented by the romans. Using shadows and highlight is called modeling to create the gradational use because of the contrast. Foreshortening: to give you the sense of rendering the object shorter because that"s how you see. Great variety of subject in 2nd style, fresco. Linear perspective, but tilted up because it expressing the story in the amphitheater. They have to set a change of the color tone to create the effect. Everybody is gathered up and walking in a simple direction. The cloth is more natural because of the wet-dripping technique.
