Housing needs describe the role that shelter can play in the life of a person to assure survival and, perhaps, to thrive as a human being. Needs can be ranked in order of their importance. Primary needs are physical in nature & have priority. Secondary needs are largely psychological or social important for quality of life. 2015 average sq. ft. = 2,687 (largest ever)
