A set of beliefs in supernatural forces and being directed at helping people to make sense of the world and solve problems: all forms of religion are believed to be founded on a belief in the supernatural. Religion and magic: magic refers to supernatural techniques intended to accomplish specific aims, magic may be: Once the magical entity touches a person, that magic stays with them. Witchcraft is an inborn, involuntary, and often unconscious capacity to cause harm to other people: you are not trying to have magic or cause harm, solely based on a psychic power. Sorcery is the performance of certain magical rites to deliberately bring about harm: making potions, medicines, performing rituals, etc, relies on material objects to aid in magic. Witch camps, especially prevalent in africa, exist as refuges for those people who are believed to have caused harm or are suspected to be witches, and have been exiled.
