We have been exploring the cell and the membrane. Now she took a look at underlying structures both inside and outside. A couple of process: phagocytosis, cell undergoes cellular change to engulf, requires movement of cytoskeleton. Secretory vesicles travel to surface of cell, the movement of these things are dependent on important elements of cytoskeleton (network of fibers inside cell) Srp receptor: it finishes making protein in er then leaves to where it is meant to be, small and large subunit break apart , but will come back together, er membranes formed and sugars added here. For example, cells in pancreas have a lot of secretory vesicles. Cells that need a lot of energy will have a lot of mitochondria: skin, the ph in the inside of lysosome is low which is not consistent. Transport proteins into membranes and some organelles. Adds sugars to lipids and proteins (glycosylation) From golgi, it uses a vesicle !
