Characterized by use of flexible tactics (technique and location) A tactic is a means by which an actor attempts to secure its larger political/strategic objectives aka tools of warfighting. Those requiring familiarity with terrain/geography - ambush/stealth attacks. Guerillas are organized into small units so they are agile (moving quickly and easily) Guerillas tend not to take and hold territory in traditional military sense. They do not occupy and keep soldiers on a territory. Guerilla soldiers do not make their lives work military service.
