Favorite place to be: countryside, mountains, meadows. Maia is his mother bashful daughter of atlas with zeus. Finds a tortoise outside & uses clever language to get it inside to kill it. Zig zag path/turns cattle backwards/disguising their tracks. Hermes purposely tries to get rid of the tracks so apollo won"t get to them.
