Health protections: when your patient/client is motivated to avoid illness, detect diseases early & maintain their self care activities and life responsibilities when they are ill. Data collection: history which is the subjective data, physical exam (pe) which is the objective data, documentation of all data from interaction, subjective = what the patient/client tells you. Symptoms that brought them in for the visit.
