Document Summary
Junot diaz did a very good job in writing his short story miss lora . The thing that helped make this a very good read for me was the use of the second-person point of view. His writing made you feel almost like you were standing in the main characters at certain times. Lora was a very large part of the story of course since the story is titled miss lora . The main character makes her a large part of his life but in the end he wishes that she would have never been a part of his life at all. The author starts off with explaining how his brother died at such a young age due to cancer. He did not like to talk about his brother a lot because i think that he was not exactly proud of what his brother became as a person.
