Because of all the sheep grazing, they started to have to import grain: it would be better off if you grew it locally, ferdinand and isabella put a price control on the grain- known as the tasa: 1502. Casa de veeduria- house of oversight, meant to oversee the guilds and to maintain high expectation in textile factories.
