Malnourishment in young children: when family food is limited (primarily due to poverty), young children often suffer from malnutrition, among poor families, food security is not taken for granted. Sharing, trading, taking turns: promoting preschoolers" motor skills, parents should insure their children have ample experiences in running, jumping, skipping, hopping, throwing, catching, climbing up, jumping down, & balancing.
