A simple ac generator with a maximum electromotive force of 30 V is to be constructed from loops of wire with a radius of 0.2 m, a rotational frequency of 60 Hz, and a magnetic field of 200 mT. How many loops of wire will be needed? What is the effective (dc-like) electromotive force of this generator? If this electromotive force is connected to a resistor of 100 O, what is the power dissipated in the resistor?

In an RL circuit, the electromotive force is 7.4 V, the inductanceis 36.5 mH, and the resistance is 10 ohm.

Find the current 0.8 ms after the switch is thrown closed.

A conducting rod 1.2m pivoted at the end is rotating at constant frequency 25Hz. If the magnetic field is 0.125T what is the electromotive force induced between the end of the rods?
