RTV 3571C Lecture Notes - Lecture 6: Raw Footage, Key Frame, Frame Rate
Document Summary
Source = raw footage, not yet edited: contents of clip. Program = what"s already on the timeline. Why are there so many ways to edit clips. Lowers resolution when playing back so it doesn"t slow down the processor. Really important if you were editing something in 4k (which have really large files) Pause resolution: resolution typically comes back to full, because still footage doesn"t kill the processor (cid:1) Lots of reasons > beats in music, chapter markers. Comment markers: remind you to come back to something, leaving comment mark for next editor to work, where to put cg. Segmentation markers: divides parts of video for servers (built in commercial points, ext) Web links: only work in quicktime, put it on the web and works as a hyperlink. Flash cue point: flash programming use (out of date) Sequence markers: goes to sequence (stays wherever you put them, don"t move with the clip)
