Document Summary

When any ion pump requires atp (which is active transport) ___ itself helps other ions transport. Other ions could be more than one or different ions. The first ion transport could transport other ions and substances from in to out/ vice versa. In kidney we have millions of nephron (formation of urine) kidneys release into ureter. 67 percent of sodium is absorbed by proximal tubule capillary. Sodium absorption helps to transport other ions and substances which is called secondary active transport. Sodium symports potassium, phosphate, amino acids, glucose, cl, bicarbonate. Reabsorption of these ions is called cotransport or symport transport. Sodium absorbs or transports more than one ion. At the same time, sodium antiports hydrogen ions. Absorption means moving of ions from urine into bloodstream. Between two chambers or spaces we have semi permeable membrane. After absorption of part a they are the same which is called isosmosis.
