Document Summary

Blood comes into right side of the heart from body, heading into lungs. Less cardiac output from the heart into the lungs if there is an issue in the r. side of heart. Backflow extra blood into the vein jugular vein. *important to know the anatomy of the heart. Gap junctions between two cells to communicate to each other important for cell communication so cells can all work as one. Ex: if they are not communicating the heart is beating not together thus atrial fib may occur. Expose binding sites so myosin can bind to actin and shorten/contract the sarcomere. Insufficient delivery of oxygenated blood to the myocardial/heart muscle/ Respiration will start shutting down-pain in chest =angina. Decrease in oxygenated blood is long enough for cell to die=myocardial infarction. Not getting to electrical supplies/cells and don"t send correct message to working cells= dysrhythmias. Coronary arteries is a high stress area/aorta is high pressure/stress area.
