Document Summary

Grades will be submitted to ucf at noon . Writing process refers to steps you take in crafting text, from the planning stage to the final, complete draft. Algorithms: precise rules that will result in a specific answer if applied to an appropriate problem. Heuristics: work backwards, won"t allow precision, gives us what is good enough most of the time , most appropriate. Plan: larger and complex, sequence of operations to perform. Process (brainstorming, outlining, drafting, order in which we draft, etc) Format, etc (3 thesis points, 5 paragraphs, etc) Gather as many good and bad ideas, suggestions, examples, sentences, false starts, etc. as you can. Jot down everything that comes to mind, including material you know you will throw out. Help organize if you already know what you want to write. Everything (except maybe the main topics) is written out in complete sentences. Helps you actually start writing and work thru your paper.
