Document Summary

Large canines, parallel arcade, human like tibia and knee. Canines made it look animal like (meat eaters) Human like tibia and knee meant they walked upright. Dental arcade: human arch is more curved like a parabola while apes are more parallel. Smaller canines, still ape like but more human, bipedal, small brain (400 cc) Postorbital constriction: ape has bigger pinching by eyes, humans are smaller. Pelvis shape, feet more similar to humans. Wide flared pelvis and metatarsals identical to humans. Dental arcade is mix of human and ape. Foramen magnum tells us it was a biped. Femoral angle is more acute than apes, which shows its bipedal. Sagittal crest: ridge across skull, attached to jaw so can have more chewing power. Large molars, thick enamel, sagittal crest, broad zygomatic arch. Huge jaw, large molars, thick enamel, sagittal crest, broad zygomatic arch, slightly taller than robustus.
