Families supplied photographs of significant events of college students" lives. 3 true photos and one false photo took a real photo and photoshopped the family into a hot air balloon. Asked in great detail each of the events in each photographs. Able to recall in detail true events all remembered these events even after. At end of 2 week more people started to remember fake photo memory, Interview 1: can"t remember fake picture and can"t give any details. After hearing a false account of their teenage crime - peppered with true details supplied by relatives concerning of their life at that time 70% of participants generate a richly detailed false memory. Try to to think about event of the subject with best friend. By end of 3 interview 70% subjects were able to remember of committing a theft or murder that never happened.
