Media where the audience can play an active/productive role in the process of collecting, reporting analyzing. Shows up in don"t hate the player hate the game. Actual examples show online through various media portrayals such as youtube. Many forms such as machinima, fan art, guides, leaked game content, and ore. An entire real of fan-produced works, since each work can be arguably labeled as a form of media since its produces and consumed. Policytainment: where the media becomes an interactive, collaborative protest against an undesired public policy/stance. One of the strongest building blocks of a fan community, and a resource that blizzard and other companies have begun to tap, even going so far as to hire some participants. Provides support for disabled women for people who did not believe there was enough assistance. For women with disabilities with a focus of transitioning into adulthood.
