The objective for this lab is to understand the exchange of carbon throughout the terrestrial biosphere and the atmosphere. By the end of this lab we should understand the feedback loop which is made between the atmosphere, terrestrial biota, and the soils. We should also understand that carbon is a limiting factor for photosynthesis and respiration. We should understand that this system is temperature dependent and photosynthesis/respiration rely heavily on temperature. Atmos(t) = atmos(t - dt) + (emissions + respiration + resp_soil - photosyn) * dt. Biota(t) = biota(t - dt) + (photosyn - respiration - litter) * dt.
