Document Summary
Last time in class we defined factorial design = 2 or more independent variables where each variable has 2 or more levels. For two factors with 2 levels each: 2x2 design. For two factors with 3 levels each: 3x3 design. For two factors, one with 3 levels and one with 2 levels: 2x3 design or 3x2 design = 6 groups. Three factors with 2 levels each: 2x2x2 design = 8 groups. The amount of numbers indicates amount of factors. The numbers indicate the amount of levels per factor. Multiply all numbers together to obtain the number of groups. 3 levels for each factor (3, 3, 2) We can include more levels within each of the factors. Bar plot 1: interaction = yes b/c it"s not parallel. Bar plot 2: interaction = none b/c it"s parallel. Bar plot 3: interaction = yes b/c it"s not parallel. Bar plot 4: interaction = none b/c it"s parallel.
