About 67% of cancer deaths will occur in people older than 65. 87% of cancers are diagnosed in people older than 50. Most common cancers mostly seen in elderly: breast, lung, prostate, colon-rectal. Five main categories: carcinomas, skin or tissues that line internal organs, sarcomas, leukemia, lymphomas, central nervous system cancers.
