How the body is deposited in the grave or container (ex: standing position is rare; sitting or seated is common) Need to note: structures, grave orientation, container orientation, body orientation, facing (ex: line of sight) Mass burials: collection of bodies being put into one area: con ict of warfare or disease. Need to consider: artifacts, furniture, furnishings, etc, types, frequencies, placement, condition or treatment.
