Scale - the dimension of how we examine the impact of a physical or human phenomena. Different social and physical processes operate at different scales: Concerned primarily with the physical processes and the relationships between humans and the physical environment. Studies spatial distribution of human population, culture, and activities. Examines patterns, distribution, interaction, and location of human phenomena.
