Prides put house up for sale in 2002 and rent until then for 450 per month. Sell to lewis for 55,000 and send contract signed by lewis and realtor saying closing date was may 15th, which the prides change by hand to june 1, telling that date to renters. Lewis never shows up on june 1, and they resell house for 40,000 and lose a year on renting it. Sue for breach of contract, with damages for difference in list price and lost rent. Won 20,900 in damages and lewis appeals.
