Being only person of your gender and ethnicity in a group can activate. Females performed worse on math test in minority group (all males) than when with all females. Rejection-identification model: perceiving prejudice and discrimination negatively impacts psychological well- being. Social costs of attributions to prejudice: when you attribute your failure to prejudice, you are seen less favourably by others, minorities are often aware of this.
